Talking Mrs. Beasley Doll {The Vermont Country Store} $99.00
If you are of a certain age, this doll is very familiar to you. Her name, Mrs. Beasley. She was the grandmother-like doll of pigtailed orphan, Buffy (played by the late Anissa Jones), on the 1960s sitcom, Family Affair. When I was little, I so desperately wanted this doll. I can recall there being a ton of antique stores in Old Town Pasadena (California), walking past a shop's window with the genuine article on display, and little me begging my mother to buy it for me. I never got my Mrs. Beasley doll but now you can for one crisp Ben Franklin (not including shipping and handling).
