Chris Dedrick 1947-2010

Chris Dedrick, the chief songwriter and arranger of '60s-'70s pop band the Free Design, has died; he was 62.
The Free Design — made up of five Dedrick siblings — remained in obscurity, releasing seven LPs between 1967 and 1972. After the band ended Dedrick moved to Canada and focused on classical composition and soundtrack scoring.
