American Football League founder Lamar Hunt famously took inspiration for naming the National Football League's championship game from his kids' Wham-O Super Ball.
The Super Ball, still produced by Wham-O (though most reviewers on Amazon seem to think the modern balls aren't as good as the original), remains one of my favorite toys.

I've never heard of one of these and now I want one. Great scans! Maybe I can find a vintage one with suitable, old model "bounce-ability". :)
